  3. Now add dal and rice and salt and cook it for few minutes then add water cover it and cook it until the rice and dal gets soft
  4. Now add the fry cauliflowers, tomatoes and little sugar cook it for few minutes then add ghee and turn off the flame

This is healthy but ultimate comfort food. Khichdi is basically prepared with rice and lentils. At my home khichdi was made just with rice and moong dal.
